Cranberries grow in marshes and are frequently harvested by hand.  When the berries are ready to be picked, they float in the water.

They are more exposed to sunlight because they are on the water's surface. This could boost their nutritional value.

Cranberries, like most fruits, provide the most nutrition when eaten whole. However, the juice is still packed with health benefits.

Cranberry juice, unsweetened, is a good source of both vitamin C and vitamin E. It's also a good source of a variety of other vitamins and minerals.

Cranberries contain proanthocyanidins, a type of compound found in many plants. These compounds are thought to help prevent urinary tract infections (UTI)

Other phytonutrients with anti-inflammatory potential can be found in cranberries. Inflammation plays a role in the long-term damage of blood vessels, particularly arteries.

Cranberries, like other fruits and berries, contain potent antioxidant phytochemicals such as vitamin C, vitamin E, and quercetin.

Cranberries can help send beneficial bacteria into your digestive system if you eat an animal-based diet. It protects your heart and improves the function of your digestive system.

It's crucial not to fall into labelling traps when shopping for healthy cranberry juice. Between cranberry juice cocktail (or cranberry drink) and actual cranberry juice,  there's a major difference.

Cranberry juice is a nutritious addition to your diet that can even help you avoid some health problems. However, it is not a substitute for medical treatment.
